We are pleased to serve you from two convenient locations. Discover our facilities and find out how we can assist you with your health needs.

Do you need a Physician Referral?

No. Physical Therapists in all 50 states including Maryland have “Direct Access”. This means that a physician’s referral is not required in order for a Physical Therapist to provide treatment. If you are going to be submitting claims to your insurance company, a referral may be required.  We would be happy to help you determine the necessary steps either way.

We keep active people active without the using pain medications, injections, or surgery. We believe in movement medicine as the ultimate pain management prescription, and we are dedicated to help you restore your optimal movement once again.  We specialize in sport-specific injury prevention and rehab/programming but we help all active adults and kids alike..

We also offer virtual services.

We specialize in adding years and yards to golfers’ game with Golf Specific Physical Therapy and TPI Golf Performance Training. This typically involves a comprehensive physical assessment, a video analysis of your golf swing, and individualized treatment.

Your program begins with a Virtual Titleist Performance Assessment which will generate a Fitness Handicap and allow us to customize golf stability and mobility program that fits your body’s needs. TPI’s 16-point assessment is based on data collected from 1000’s of amateurs and tour players and how the body relates to the golf swing.

This depends on your specific policy, but typically yes. Arpella Physical Therapy will provide you with an invoice called a superbill with all of the necessary information to submit a claim to your insurance company. You can usually find printable claim forms on your insurance company’s website if they require specific paperwork. Call your insurance company and ask about “out-of-network Physical Therapy” reimbursement for more information.
